RAMALLAH, Tuesday, April 06, 2021 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is clear with a significant rise in temperature, which approaches 9°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are easterly to southeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 29°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature slightly drops tomorrow, Wednesday, but remains 7°C above the seasonal average, and drops again on Thursday but remains slightly above the season’s average, said the PMD.

A cold front is expected to affect the country on Friday, thus the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy, with a significant drop in temperature approaching 7°C below the seasonal average. A chance of scattered rain showers is expected in some areas.
