RAMALLAH, Tuesday, December 29, 2020 (WAFA) – The cold conditions that affected Palestine in the last few days have subsided with a rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
However, the cold conditions continue at night in most districts of Palestine.
Winds are southeasterly to easterly, light to moderate and occasionally active. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and in Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ where Christmas is being celebrated, is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 14°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No change in temperature or weather conditions is expected tomorrow, Wednesday, and through Friday, the first day of the New Year 2021, said the PMD.
