RAMALLAH, Friday, December 11, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear and slightly cold to mild in daytime and cold in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts, with a rise in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Light to moderate southeasterly to southwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 17°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A further rise is expected in temperature, which becomes unseasonably high, on Saturday, with partially cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime.
An additional rise is expected in Sunday’s temperature, which approaches 5 to 7°C above the seasonal average, with partially cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts in daytime. Moderate to slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime.
Monday’s temperature is set to plummet, approaching 2 to 3°C above the seasonal average with partially cloudy and relatively cold conditions. Winds will pick up in the evening and night hours as sporadic rainfall is set to drop on some districts, with occasional thunderstorms
