RAMALLAH, Wednesday, December 09, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and cold, particularly in mountainous districts in the morning and night hours, and relatively cold during the day hours with a drop in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic light rainfall is expected on some districts, with the rain tapering off towards evening. Light to moderate westerly to northwesterly wind blow in daytime with occasional gusts, while northwesterly to northeasterly wind blow in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 13°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 13°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Thursday’s weather is partially cloudy to clear and relatively to slightly cold, particularly in mountainous districts, with a rise in temperature, which becomes seasonal.
Friday’s temperature is set to further rise, paving the way to partially cloudy to clear and relatively to slightly cold conditions.
A further rise is expected in temperature on Saturday, with partially cloudy and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm conditions in other districts.
