RAMALLAH, Friday, November 27, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold, particularly in mountains, with a rise in temperature, which approaches 4°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Isolated rain showers are still expected on some districts with occasional thunderstorms. Light to moderate southeasterly to northeasterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 15°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Saturday’s temperature is set to slightly rise and approach 3°C below the seasonal average, as partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions continue to prevail, particularly in mountains. Isolated rain showers are still expected on some districts with occasional thunderstorms.
A further slight rise is expected in temperature on Sunday, with partially cloudy to clear and slightly cold conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime.
No significant change is expected in the weather conditions on Monday.
PMD warns people against floods in flood-prone areas and valleys, gusty wind, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
