RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 26, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy and cold, particularly in the mountainous areas, following a significant drop in temperature to become around 6°C blow the seasonal average. Rain and thunderstorms are also expected in most areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are southwesterly to northwesterly, active and occasionally strong, and sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 12°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 15°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Friday, to become 4°C below the seasonal average with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms in some areas.
A further slight rise in temperature is expected on Saturday, which remains 3°C below the average and a chance of showers and occasional thunderstorms in some districts.
Temperature is expected to rise again on Sunday, but remains slightly below the annual average, said the PMD, which warned people against the formation of floods in valleys and low areas, high winds, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
