RAMALLAH, Saturday, November 21, 2020 (WAFA) – The low-pressure front that affected Palestine yesterday continues today bringing cold conditions as temperature drops to become 5°C below the seasonal average, along with rain and possibly thunderstorms, mainly in the northern areas, according to the Palestine Meteorological Department (PMD).
Chances of rain decrease in the evening with moderate to active, southwesterly to westerly wind prevailing, occasionally gusty. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 14°C and a low of 9°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Sunday’s temperature is expected to rise by 2°C with a chance of sporadic light rain in some districts.
Another rise in temperature is expected on Monday but remains slightly below the seasonal average.
No change in weather conditions is expected on Tuesday, said the PMD, which warned against the formation of floods in valleys and low areas, gusty winds, slippery roads, and low horizontal visibility.
