RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 19, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy to clear, mild in the mountainous areas and relatively warm in other districts, with no change in temperature, which remains a bit above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are light to moderate, sometimes active, southeasterly to southwesterly and sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 20°C and a low of 13°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 19°C and a low of 12°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is expected to drop and approach 2°C below the seasonal average. Scattered rain and occasional thunderstorms are expected in most areas.
Another drop in temperature on Saturday to become 5°C below the seasonal average with scattered rain and thunderstorms are expected in most areas until the night hours when chances of rain become low.
Temperature rises on Sunday but remains 3°C below the average with a chance of rain and thunderstorms in most districts during the night, said the PMD, which warned against flooding in low areas, gusty winds, slippery roads, and low horizontal visibility.
