RAMALLAH, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear, mild in the mountainous areas and relatively warm in other districts, with a rise in temperature, which becomes a bit above the average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Weather tonight is relatively cold, particularly in mountainous districts. Moderate to active southeasterly to northeasterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 14°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 17°C and a low of 13°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 21°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
The same weather conditions are expected for Thursday.
Friday’s temperature is set to plummet and approach 2°C below the seasonal average, paving the way to partially cloudy skies and scattered rain showers and occasional thunderstorms.
Temperature is expected to drop again, becoming 6°C below the seasonal average as weather continues to be partially cloudy to cloudy and cold, particularly in mountainous districts. Scattered rain showers, along with thunderstorms, are expected on most areas.
People are warned against flooding in low areas, gusty winds, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
