RAMALLAH, Sunday, November 15, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is rainy and cold with a noticeable drop in temperature, as a low pressure accompanied by a cold front affects the country. Rain and thunderstorms are expected during the day and night, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are moderate to active and northwesterly. Sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 16°C and a low of 12°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 15°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 16°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Rain is expected to continue in some areas on Monday as temperature remains 3°C below the average, said the PMD.
A rise in temperature is expected for Tuesday, which nevertheless remains 2°C below the annual average with sporadic rain expected on some areas.
Temperature rises further on Wednesday setting back to its normal average.
People are warned against flooding in low areas, speedy winds, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
