RAMALLAH, Friday, November 13, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions in mountainous districts and relatively warm in other districts in daytime, with a slight rise in temperature, which becomes seasonal, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Slightly to relatively cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Light to moderate northeasterly to easterly wind blows in daytime, and becomes occasionally active. Northwesterly to northeasterly wind blows in nighttime. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 22°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 32°C and a low of 22°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is set to remain steady, with partially cloudy to clear and relatively warm conditions in daytime and slightly to relatively cold conditions in nighttime. Isolated showers with occasional thunderstorms are expected in nighttime.

A low pressure with a cold front are set to affect the region on Sunday, causing temperature to plummet and reach 4°C below the seasonal average and paving the way to partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold conditions in daytime and relatively cold to cold conditions in nighttime. Sporadic rainfall is expected with occasional thunderstorms.

Monday’s temperature is set to further drop by 1°C, paving the way to partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold conditions. Sporadic rainfall is expected, particularly in the morning hours.

PMD warns people against the formation of floods in valleys and low areas, gusty winds, slippery roads and low horizontal visibility.
