RAMALLAH, Tuesday, November 10, 2020 (WAFA) – The Vatican Foreign Minister, Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, today offered condolences to President Mahmoud Abbas over the death of Saeb Erekat, the Secretary of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
During a phone call, Gallagher expressed his deep condolences to the Palestinian people and the family of the deceased, making mention of Erekat's virtues.
He also described Erekat as a man of peace and a defender of the rights of his people on the basis of international legitimacy.
