RAMALLAH, Friday, November 6, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and relatively cold in daytime and cold in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts, with a slight rise in temperature, which remains unseasonably low, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Sporadic rain showers with occasional thunderstorms are expected. Light to moderate westerly to southwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts in daytime, and becomes southwesterly to southeasterly in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 17°C and a low of 11°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 21°C and a low of 16°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A further rise is expected in temperature on Saturday, paving the way to partly cloudy to clear and relatively cold conditions in mountainous districts and mild conditions in other districts. A slight chance of isolated rain showers is still expected.
Sunday’s temperature is set to further rise, paving the way to partly cloudy and mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime. Isolated rainfall and occasional thunderstorms are expected towards the evening and night hours. Moderate to strong easterly wind will blow during the morning.
Monday’s temperature is set to remain steady with partially cloudy to clear and mild conditions in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime. Sporadic rainfall and occasional thunderstorms are still expected.
