RAMALLAH, Thursday, November 5, 2020 (WAFA) - The overall Industrial Production Index (IPI) in Palestine increased in September by 9.34% compared to August, today said the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

IPI for September increased due to the increase in the activities of Electricity, Gas, Steam and Air Conditioning Supply by 28.40%, which had a share of 11.95% of the total industry, the activities of Mining and Quarrying by 24.58%, which had a share of 2.68% of the total industry, the activities of Manufacturing Industry by 6.25%, which had a share of 82.98% of the total industry, and the activities of Water Supply, Sewerage, Waste Management and Remediation by 4.27%, which had a share of 2.39% of the total industry.
