RAMALLAH, Tuesday, November 03, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and mild in daytime and relatively cold conditions in nighttime, with a further slight drop in temperature, which becomes seasonal, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Isolated rain showers are expected to fall on some districts in daytime, and gradually intensify towards the night with occasional thunderstorms. Light to moderate westerly to southwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts in daytime. Wind becomes westerly to northwesterly in nighttime. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 19°C and a low of 13°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 24°C and a low of 17°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A low pressure with a cold front are set to affect the region on Wednesday, causing temperature to further drop and become unseasonably low and paving the way to partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold conditions.
Rain showers, which could be torrential, with occasional thunderstorms are expected, particularly in the evening and night hours.
Thursday’s weather is partially cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold to cold, with a further slight drop in temperature. Torrential rain showers are set to fall on various districts with occasional thunderstorms.
The same weather conditions are expected for Friday.
PMD warns people against gusty wind, low horizontal visibility, slippery roads and flash floods in valleys and low areas.
