Weather: Drop in temperature with the first rainfall this season expected early next week

RAMALLAH, Saturday, October 31, 2020 (WAFA) – Temperature drops today but remains slightly above the seasonal average while the first rainfall for this season is expected early next week, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, occasionally active, and sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 22°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another drop in temperature is expected, tomorrow, Sunday, to become around the annual average with partly cloudy skies and a slight chance of sporadic light rain on some areas.

An additional drop in temperature is expected on Monday to approach 2-3°C below the seasonal average with a good chance of sporadic rain and possibly thunderstorms in most districts.

Temperature drops again on Tuesday to become 5°C below the seasonal average with rain and thunderstorms expected in most districts.
