RAMALLAH, Saturday, October 24, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is relatively hot in all areas of Palestine during the day with temperature 5°C above the seasonal average. However, a drop in temperature is expected tonight with a slight chance of sporadic showers and possibly thunderstorms in some areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are southeasterly to easterly during the day and changes to northeasterly to southeasterly during the night, light to moderate and occasionally gusty and dusty. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to further drop tomorrow, Sunday, even though it remains slightly above the annual average with a chance of rain and thunderstorms in most areas.

However, a rise in temperature is expected for Monday to become 4°C above the seasonal average, with no change in weather conditions expected for Tuesday, said the PMD.
