Weather forecast: Relatively hot conditions, unseasonably high temperature

RAMALLAH, Friday, October 23, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear to partly cloudy and relatively hot in mountainous districts and hot in other districts in daytime, with a rise in temperature, which approaches 5°C above the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mild to Slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Moderate northeasterly to southeasterly wind blows with occasional gusts in daytime, and becomes light to moderate in nighttime. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

The unseasonably relatively hot to hot conditions are expected to prevail during the morning on Saturday. Temperature is set to plummet toward the evening and night, paving the way to relatively cold conditions and sporadic showers and occasional thunderstorms.

Sunday’s temperature is set to further plummet, paving the way to slightly to relatively cold conditions with isolated rain showers and occasional thunderstorms in most districts.

Monday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 4°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot conditions in other districts.
