RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 22, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is clear to partly cloudy and relatively hot in mountainous districts and hot in other districts in daytime with a rise in temperature, which approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD) said.
Weather tonight is relatively cold in mountainous districts and mild in other districts. Light to moderate northwesterly to northeasterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low to medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 36°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 21°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is set to rise by 1°C, paving the way to relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts.
The partly cloudy and unseasonably hot conditions are expected to prevail during the morning on Saturday. Temperature is set to plummet in the evening and night, paving the way to relatively cold conditions and sporadic showers and thunderstorms.
Sunday’s temperature is set to further plummet with ongoing isolated rain showers and occasional thunderstorms in most districts.
