RAMALLAH, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot in other districts in daytime with a significant drop in temperature, which becomes around its the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A chance of scattered rain showers are expected on some areas.
Relatively cold to mild conditions are expected in nighttime. Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows, with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 25°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Temperature is set to rise and approach 3°C above the seasonal average on Thursday, paving the way to relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot in other districts.
Friday’s and Saturday’s temperature is set to rise and approach 4°C above the seasonal average, with relatively hot conditions in mountainous districts and hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Slightly cold conditions are expected in nighttime, particularly in mountainous districts.
