RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 08, 2020 (WAFA) – Minister of Health Mai Al-Kaileh warned issued today a high-level warning against the rapid spread of the coronavirus during the coming days and the danger of losing control over its spread across the country, especially before the winter season.

Speaking to the official Voice of Palestine radio, al-Kaileh called on citizens to reduce gatherings especially in social events and to commit to the instructions of the Ministry of Health concerning social distancing and wearing masks.

She also warned against the increase in the number of deaths of those infected with the coronavirus, especially among the youth and people with no history of chronic diseases.

Al-Kaileh further warned that all hospitals across the country have become greatly occupied with people infected with coronavirus, which could result in a crisis durin the coming days. She noted that the Ministry is working to secure sufficient numbers of testing swabs for the next three months.
