RAMALLAH, Monday, October 05, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is hot in Palestine with a rise in temperature, which approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mild to cold conditions are expected in nighttime. Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate and occasionally active. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 19°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 27°C and a low of 18°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 25°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature is expected to rise again on Tuesday and Wednesday, becoming 6°C above the seasonal average. Weather is expected to be hot to very hot in most areas.

Weather continues to be very hot in most areas on Thursday as temperature rises again, approaching 8°C above the seasonal average.
