RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 1, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy and relatively hot in the mountainous districts and hot in other districts in daytime with a slight drop in temperature, which approaches 4°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mild to slightly cold conditions in nighttime are expected. Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 18°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 28°C and a low of 17°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 24°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 22°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to further drop and approach 2°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountains and relatively hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Slightly cold to relatively mild conditions are expected in nighttime.

Partly cloudy to clear skies are expected on Saturday with no significant change in temperature.

Partly cloudy and mild conditions are expected on Sunday with a slight drop in temperature, which becomes seasonal.
