RAMALLAH, Wednesday, September 30, 2020 (WAFA) –Weather today is relatively hot in the mountainous districts and hot in other districts in daytime with a slight drop in temperature, which approaches 3°C above the seasonal average, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Mild to relatively hot conditions in nighttime are expected. Light to moderate northwesterly wind blows with occasional gusts. Sea waves are low.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 21°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 30°C and a low of 20°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 40°C and a low of 27°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 31°C and a low of 25°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A further drop is expected in temperature on Thursday, paving the way to further relief in the heat stress. A slight chance of scattered drizzle is expected on some areas.

Friday’s temperature is set to further drop, paving the way to partly cloudy and mild conditions in mountains and relatively hot conditions in other districts in daytime. Slightly cold to relatively mild conditions are expected in nighttime.

No significant change is expected in the weather conditions for Saturday, but temperature is expected to further drop and become seasonal.
