RAMALLAH, Saturday, September 26, 2020 (WAFA) – The autumn conditions that prevailed in the last few days in Palestine end today as hot summer conditions return starting tomorrow.

Weather today is partly cloudy and mild in mountainous districts and relatively hot in other districts in the daytime with temperature 2°C below the seasonal average and slightly cold in mountainous districts and mild in other districts during the night, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is northwesterly, light to moderate, get active at times and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 17°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 25°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 37°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

A significant rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Sunday, to approach 3°C above the seasonal average.

Another sharp rise in temperature is expected for Monday to approach 7°C above the average.

However, a slight drop in temperature is expected for Tuesday, which nevertheless remains above average by 5°C, said the PMD.
