RAMALLAH, August 5, 2012 (WAFA) – Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki Sunday said that the extraordinary ministerial meeting of the Non-Aligned Movement Committee on Palestine was canceled due to Israel’s preventing of four countries to enter Palestine.
He said, during a press conference which was held following Israel’s decision, that Israel aims to foil the efforts made by the Palestinian authority to achieve more diplomatic success for Palestine.
Israel claims that Bangladesh, Malaysia, Cuba and Indonesia were denied entrance because they don’t maintain diplomatic relations with it, said al-Malki.
He added, “These countries wanted to enter Palestine and not Israel.”
The committee declared that it will not tolerate any half solutions and refused to hold any meetings outside Palestine, al-Malki said.
He said that a press conference will be held in Amman, during which the committee will read a strongly-worded statement denouncing Israel’s decision and actions, supporting Palestine and ending occupation.
