GAZA, July 16, 2012 (WAFA) – Families of prisoners from the Gaza Strip Monday headed to visit their relative Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails after a six-year ban of all visitations rights.
The families were allowed to visit Gaza prisoners in accordance to the recent Egyptian-sponsored agreement the Israeli Prisons’ Service signed with prisoners who went on a mass four-week hunger strike in May.
Around 40 family members gathered at the International Committee of the Red Cross office in Gaza City and headed to Beit Hanoun (Erez) crossing.
