Colonists attack the town of Turmusaya, set fire to Palestinian lands near Ramallah

RAMALLAH, June 26, 2025 (WAFA) – A group of Israeli colonists launched an attack on the town of Turmusaya, northeast of Ramallah, on Thursday, setting fire to Palestinian-owned agricultural land and firing live ammunition at residents and their homes.

Local sources reported that the colonists targeted the outskirts of the town, prompting residents to rush to defend their land. In the course of the attack, the colonists opened fire with live bullets, endangering civilians and damaging property.

This attack is part of a broader pattern of daily and escalating violence carried out by colonists and backed by Israeli occupation forces across northeastern Ramallah villages, including Al-Mughayyir, Abu Falah, Sinjil, Kafr Malik, Al-Taybeh, Deir Jarir, and Al-Mazra’a al-Sharqiya. These assaults often involve physical attacks on residents, the burning of agricultural crops, and the closure of main village entrances.

Yesterday, four Palestinians, including a child, were killed in the town of Kafr Malik by colonists and Israeli forces providing them with protection.
