KHAN YOUNIS, June 26, 2025 (WAFA) – Five Palestinian civilians were killed on Thursday in an Israeli airstrike targeting a vehicle in the city of Khan Younis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to WAFA correspondent, Israeli warplanes struck a civilian vehicle in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, resulting in the killing of five people. Several others were injured in the attack, including women and children.
Medical sources in Gaza confirmed that the death toll from Israeli airstrikes across various parts of the Gaza Strip has risen to 62 since the early hours of this morning.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 54,249 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 123,492 others injured.
Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
