JERUSALEM, April 15, 2010 (WAFA)- Member of  Fatah Revolutionary Council Dimitry Diliani warned, today, of an Israeli plan against the villages surrounding the city of Jerusalem, in cooperation with settlers.

In a press release, he added that such a plan goes in parallel with the decision of the Israeli municipality of Jerusalem to resume house demolitions in the occupied city, in addition to the  policy of building settlements, constructing the Apartheid wall, seizure of Jerusalemites houses, imposing high taxes,  ruining the process of education, putting obstacles on any development in old city.

Diliani pointed out that the settlers uprooted on Tuesday night, 300 olive trees in the village of Mikhmas north of occupied Jerusalem.

He emphasized that the Jerusalem rural areas are targeted ,as a part of Judiazation of Jerusalem. The settlers terrorize citizens in these areas, while the occupation authorities recently seize lands in Anata village north east of Jerusalem.

He said that the situation in Jerusalem and its rural areas is catastrophic, calling for international intervention to protect the Jerusalemites .
