GAZA, April 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed and another was seriously injured on Thursday afternoon in an Israeli drone strike targeting them in the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.
According to WAFA correspondent, citing the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s Saraya Field Hospital, the strike hit civilians on Salah al-Din Road near Kuwait Roundabout in the area, resulting in three fatalities and one critically injured person.
Although a ceasefire in Gaza went into effect on October 11, 2025, the death toll has continued to rise, reaching 72,601, mostly women and children, since the beginning of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, according to local health authorities.
Since the ceasefire went into effect, the number of those killed and injured has reached 824 and 2,316, respectively. At least 764 bodies have also been recovered from under the rubble.
