HEBRON, April 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Armed colonists, on Thursday, prevented Palestinian farmers from accessing their lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, after taking over part of the land, according to a local activist.
Activist Osama Makhamreh said that a group of armed colonists blocked residents and farmers from reaching hundreds of dunums of their lands and fields in Wadi Al-Jawaya area in Masafer Yatta, after taking control of part of the land and erecting a tent there two days earlier.
Colonists began installing livestock sheds and bringing agricultural equipment into the area, raising fears among residents of the establishment of a new colonial outpost and the seizure of additional land.
