HEBRON, May 1, 2026 (WAFA) — Armed Israeli colonists on Friday stole a tent and agricultural equipment and prevented farmers from accessing their lands in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron.

Local activist Osama Makhmareh said that a group of colonists from an outpost built on residents’ land dismantled and stole a tent belonging to citizen Farid Abu Ali in the Wadi al-Jawaya area, along with other farming tools.

In the Huwara hamlet, also in Masafer Yatta, an armed colonist blocked farmer Adel Hamamdeh and his family from reaching their fields and harvesting their crops, threatening to forcibly displace them from their land.

In a related incident, armed colonists attacked agricultural lands in the village of al-Burj, southwest of Hebron, releasing their cattle onto the fields after preventing landowners from accessing them.
