Israeli forces bulldoze land in Hebron and block road in Beit Ummar

HEBRON, April 30, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces bulldozed a plot of land in the city of Hebron, south of the occupied West Bank, on Thursday and closed an internal road with earth barriers in the nearby town of Beit Ummar, north of the city.

According to local sources, the forces began leveling land adjacent to a house they had seized two days earlier in the Jabal Jawhar area of Hebron, in preparation for establishing a military tower on the site.

Locals told WAFA that Israeli forces delivered a military order confiscating a two-story home, which covers an area of 170 square meters and shelters eight people, along with the surrounding land. Mashhour Ajlouni, the owner, said he was forced to evacuate before the property was seized and converted into a military post, after which excavation work began on the adjacent land.

In a separate incident, Israeli forces accompanied by a bulldozer stormed the town of Beit Ummar north of Hebron and closed an internal road with earth barriers.
