President Mahmoud Abbas affirmed, Thursday, in the inauguration of Palestine’s Investment Forum in Nablus, that, “the PNA is seriously working on the reforms, and good governance policies” insisting on the government’s role in realizing those policies and turning them into facts on the ground, to serve “our goal in liberation, development and stability.”
The president reiterated that the PNA has no preservations on the Egyptian Initiative for Palestinian national reconciliation, saying that, “our goal is to accomplish our national aspiration, by establishing our independent democratic state; therefore we reach our hands out for unity.”
He added that ending the occupation, establishing the independent Palestinian state, with East Jerusalem as its capital is the key to peace, stability and security, stressing that the Two-State solution necessitates binding Israel to put an end to its illegal colonization activities, apartheid wall building, and houses demolition. He stated that no partial solutions are to be accepted, and that postponing the talks on any of the fundamental issues will not be accepted either.
