RAMALLAH, April 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained Palestinians for several hours Sunday evening at a checkpoint near the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, preventing them from entering or leaving the village.

Local sources reported that the occupation forces subjected the Palestinians to searches and harassing procedures during their detention at the checkpoint, hindering their daily movement and affecting their access to work and other necessities.

This comes within the context of the ongoing policy of restrictions imposed by the occupation forces on Palestinian villages and towns through military checkpoints and closures, limiting freedom of movement and exacerbating the suffering of the Palestinian population.
