Al-Dameer Warns of Gaza Sige Repercussions

RAMALLAH, November 16, 2008 (WAFA)- Al-Dameer association for Human Rights warned of the dangerous repercussions resulting from the continuous economic siege and closure of crossing points, imposed by the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF).

In a press release issued, Sunday, Al-Dameer warned of the consequences of the Israeli inhumane practices; cutting off fuel supplies, forbidding patients from leaving the Gaza Strip for treatment and disrupting the role of international humanitarian associations.

The Association affirmed that the humanitarian conditions in Gaza are dramatically deteriorating, following the Israeli Occupation Authorities tightening the closure on the Strip. This closure has dangerous impacts on the rights of Palestinian citizens, whose lives have been turned into a humanitarian catastrophe.
