BETHLEHEM, November 16, 2008 (WAFA)- Bethlehem Police Department celebrated the one million tourist coming to the Church of Nativity in Bethlehem, 2008.
After the number of tourists and pilgrims coming to Bethlehem approximated one million, Bethlehem Police Department and the Ministry of Tourism organized a celebration, where three tourist buses were received, and decorated at the city entrance, then the Tourism Police escorted them into the city of Bethlehem, to the Manger Square, in front of the Church of Nativity.
During the ceremony, Palestinian Folklore Dances were performed and the Polish one million tourist was given a souvenir from Bethlehem. Head of the Bethlehem Police Department expected that 250,000 tourists and pilgrims would come to Bethlehem during Christmas and the New Year celebrations.
