Abass Meets with Koshner, Livni & Blair

SHARM AL-SHEIKH, November 9, 2008, (WAFA)- President Mahmoud Abbas met,  Sunday with Israeli Minister  of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Livni, in Egyptian resort of Sharm Al-Sheikh.

 

They tackled the issues of negotiations during the transitional period in Israel.

 

President Abbas met also on the margin of the Quartet meeting, the French  minister of  foreign affairs Bernard Koshner, and the Quartet Envoy to Middle east Tony Blair.

 

On Saturday President Abbas met, Saturday with the United Nations Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon in Sharm Al-Sheikh.

 

They discussed the latest developments in Palestinian Territory, and the Quartet meeting held, Monday in Sharm Al-Sheikh.

 

He also met separately, Saturday, with the Secretary General the League of Arab States, Amr Mousa, and the Jordanian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Salah Al-Deen Al-Basheer. They discussed the latest  developments in the Palestinian Territory,  Palestinian national dialogue and the Quartet meeting.
