RAMALLAH, November 8, 2008, (WAFA)- President Abbas issued, Saturday a decree to establish The Islamic Christian Institution for Defending the Holy Places in Jerusalem.  

This institution is financially and administratively independent. It’s Headquarters will be established in Jerusalem, some offices will be opened in the West Bank.

The institution’s main objective is to defend the holy places in Jerusalem, to enhance the Islamic Christian relations, and coordinate with international organizations and institutions to defend the holy places in Jerusalem.
