RAMALLAH, November 8, 2008 (WAFA)- The Palestinian Leadership was informed, Saturday that the Palestinian National Dialogue Conference was postponed till further notice, because of Hamas boycotting the dialogue sessions.
Secretary of the Palestinian Liberation Organization Executive Committee, Yasser Abed Rabbo stated that, “Hamas boycotting the Palestinian national dialogue is an attempt to disrupt the Egyptian efforts for Palestinian national reconciliation and to keep the Palestinian internal crisis.
He added that the Palestinian Leadership will not be part of any plan aiming at disrupting the Palestinian national dialogue, but will do of its best to make it succeed and bring back unity to the Palestinian people.
Fateh Central Committee Member, Nabil Sha’ath, commented, “our hearts are full of sorrow for this decision. We are ambitious to end the division and to bring back the Palestinian unity.”
