President Abbas: We are Determined to Get our Legitimate Rights

BETHLEHEM, July 19, 2008, (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas said that the Israeli practices against the Palestinian people would not make us frustrated and we determine to get our legitimate rights.

President stressed, during his reception members of parliamentarian youths in Bethlehem on Saturday, that the Israeli obstacles either concerning the negotiations on the final status issues or the daily practices such as settlements activities, daily incursions to different Palestinian cities and barricades in the West Bank  as well as the detention of 11000 prisoners in Israeli jails all these issues bring about despair and frustration.

President added but we should not be frustrated, we want to restore our land that was occupied in 1967 and we want Jerusalem to be a capital of Palestine. ' We want the right of refugees according to the Arab Initiative and the UN resolution 194 and want an independent and viable Palestinian state living side by side with Israel.'
