Eriekat: Negotiating Team in Washington to Review Peace Process

PARIS, July 15, 2008, (WAFA)-Head of the PLO Negotiations Affairs Department Saeb Ereikat said that the Palestinian negotiating team would head to Washington today top meet US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

In a telephone call from Paris, Ereikat affirmed that the Palestinian negotiating team would review with Rice the file of the peace process and obstacles that block reaching agreement between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.

Ereikat added that the delegation would turn on the settlements activities and the ongoing Israeli practices which hinder the negotiations.

He made it clear that the delegation would urge the American Administration to exert effort to compel Israel abide by Annapolis conference understandings.
