Settlements  have negatively affected the peace process and settlements are real obstacles before negotiations and Israel should hold responsibility for the stumbling negotiations.'

Abu Rudeina stressed that the PNA is committed to international and Arab legitimacy , the Road Map and the two –state solution on the basis of the borders of the Fourth of June 1967.

As for the internal Palestinian situation and dialogue, Abu Rudeina said that efforts were being made in this direction and that the President's initiative is available to begin a dialogue sponsored by the League of Arab States.
