PETRA, June 18, 2008, (WAFA)-His Majesty King Abdullah II affirmed that 'the single-most important step is peace and a comprehensive settlement of the Arab-Israeli conflict'.
In his remarks at the opening of the 4th Petra Nobel laureates conference on Wednesday, the king said:' It would be a serious mistake to miss the opportunities we have this year: to establish, finally, a sovereign, independent, and viable Palestinian state along with a secure and recognized Israel .
The king added that this work, the work of peace and progress, should have all our support.
