EU Commissioner Urges Rapid Release of BBC Reporter
BRUSSELS, April 16, 2007, (WAFA) -European Commission (EC) Vice-President Margot Wallstrom called for swift release of BBC reporter Alan Johnston as soon as possible.
In a statement issued Monday, Wallstrom expressed on behalf of the entire EC staff full support for Johnston's family, commending the Palestinian government for its endeavors to bring about the release of the BBC reporter.
