GCC Condemns Israeli Air Strike on Gaza Strip
RIYADH, April 08, 2007, (WAFA)-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Abdurrahman Al-Attiyah condemned the latest aggressions conducted by the Israel forces in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement issued Sunday, Al-Attiyah resented the Israeli army's air strike, missile attacks and tanks' incursions into Jabalia refugee camp northern Gaza, underlining that such recurring attacks exposed Israeli aggressive policy, which aimed at dispersing all efforts for a peaceful settlement.
Al-Attiyah urged the international community to swiftly take an affirmative action to halt such violations, stressing at the same time on the necessity of creating an appropriate atmosphere in order for peace and stability to prevail in the region.
