Strike in Israeli Colleges on Tuesday
HAIFA, April 08, 2007, (WAFA)-The Organisation of university students in Israel announced Sunday its intention to begin a strike in protest against the government's policy on the issue of higher education, Tuesday.
In a statement, the organization said that the strike will include 36 faculty in Israel. Media in Israel quoted the students as saying, that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, is not interested in the topic of education, which is harmful to the students' audience.
It noted that this strike, comes directly in protest against the "Committee for SHoht" which was formed to approve the share of education in Israel.
