Journalists Protection Committee Calls on Media for Meeting in its HQ Today
GAZA, March 24, 2007, (WAFA)-Journalists Protection Committee at Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) called on journalists and media to attend a meeting Saturday afternoon at the headquarters of the PJS in Gaza.
In a statement, PJS said that this meeting comes within the framework of condemnation of the criminal act perpetrated against the freedom of opinion and expression in light of the continuity of the abduction of the BBC British correspondent,Mr. Alan Johnston as well as to discuss the latest developments on this subject and to be briefed on the further steps to be adopted.
