Presidential Decree Issued to Form Unity Gov't
GAZA, March 17, 2007 (WAFA) - A Presidential Decree was issued on Saturday requesting the formation of the new Cabinet after the new ministers were sworn in.
The decree was issued following a swearing-in ceremony, held simultaneously in Gaza and Ramallah, in which the new cabinet was sworn in before President Mahmoud Abbas.
The new Unity Government headed by Ismael Haniyya was given confidence in the Palestinian Legislative Council on Saturday March 17.
